Ok for the -M mgmt IP, you will probably need to run the native IOS-XE version, not the CS version to get this to work. And if the mgmt IP is sticky on a DHCP IP then search for my article about sticky behavior of the native IOS-XE versions.  You'll have to go back an forth between an SVI in the DHCP range and then back to the wanted SVI.  It's a bit of a mess 😉 But when doing this design please do have a failure check so you can observe the behavior on the C9300 switches with the OSPF default routes. ... I tested this for several locations.    This only works as expected if you don't implement switch config templates.  When you unbind a network from a configuration template (and retain configurations), configuration overrides are preserved at that point, yes. However, in the case of a combined network, any switches joined to that network are also unbound from the switch config templates they were assigned to.  If any switches are then re-bound to a switch template, (even if it is identical to the original one it was attached to), configuration overrides are deleted at that point.  So if you don't use switch config templates, this works. If you do use switch templates, config overrides are removed once you bind switches to a switch template.    The only way around this I can think of, is splitting the network into separate wireless and switch networks, updating the Wireless template, then combining the templates again into a combined network.  ... As has been said above, Bridge mode is the only way to do it. As much as Meraki NAT is great, as soon as you have any additional requirements it becomes a bit of a hassle. Hey; In the event of issues arising from new firmware you can Rollback directly from the Dashboard. Follow the steps below to roll back a firmware upgrade. Navigate to Organization > Monitor > Firmware upgrades. From the Overview tab, view the Most recent upgrades section and find the applicable upgrade entry. Click on the applicable upgrade entry where it lists the number of networks and devices that were upgraded. Click the Rollback button. Select a reason for the rollback and enter a brief description. Select Perform the upgrade now or Schedule the upgrade for, specifying a date and time for the rollback.  Click Submit to schedule the rollback.  Best Deployment strategy is to move a handful (or single) of APs into their own Network Dashboard to roll out firmware upgrades as it cannot be done per device but per network. Would be best to understand the rules of binding and unbinding of templates works e.g. unbinding and retaining configuration as well as what can be overridden locally for each site. Of course the consensus for deployments is generally making sure you have a testing process in place that suits you. E.g.
