Are the security features on a Z device the same as those in an MX appliance?

Hi everyone! Hope you are doing good! Can someone share a quick comparison between MX & Z series appliances? Is it just the use case and number of WAN links that differentiate each device type, or are there features available in the MX series that are not present in the Z series? I couldn't find an article that compares both devices, so I'm bringing it up here. Thanks in advance!

Is it behind another firewall? -- I am configuring a internet lease line from an ISP, so I believe there is no firewall. Is it in a network on the dashboard and configured? -- Yes, i have created a Network with the appliance. Go to the local status page of the MX and it should give you the reason why it cannot connect. -- The local status page shows - "Something wrong with the MX, couldn't connect to the dashboard"

Hi everyone, I need your help to understand why my MX device does not connect to the dashboard? However, the laptop connected on the LAN port which was used to assign static IP to the MX, does get internet access and I am able to surf the web. Dashboard shows nothing, as MX is not able to contact the Meraki Cloud. Can someone help me with this please. this is a Day 0 delivery.
