Hi All. A client of ours have a couple of MXs that are due for a Firmware upgrade, but they all have the following message note. This network contains device(s) which are incompatible with the target version. Their firmware version must remain below MX 18.200 and will use the highest compatible version available. Is this message referring to other Meraki devices attached to these MXs or other devices. It's a bit Vague the message and not giving any content. Or I might be missing something.

Hi all. Just an update. Meraki ended up doing an RMA of the AP as we could not get it working as it should. I've just added the new ap and it is working. Thanks again for all the responses. Cheers.

Hi Everyone. Thanks for the replies and advice. I am not based on site for this client. The upstream firewall is allowing traffic. The LED Status light is blue. Clients are connecting and working perfectly. I have power cycled the AP. The AP just can't communicate with the Dashboard. I have a support ticket logged with Meraki. I will post the findings and resolution here once it is sorted.

Hi All. We have a MR36 AP on firmware 30.6 connected to a MS120 switch. The AP is online and working but shows offline in dashboard. I can ping the AP from the switch. Dashboard message: This device may be unplugged, or it was connected to a new device as of about 11 hours ago. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks. I see the list of fixes is way longer in 30.6 than in 30.7, but I assume 30.7 will include the same fixes as 30.6 had?

Hi all. We have a client running MR 29.5.1 on all their AP's. It was recommended for them to upgrade to MR30.6, but I see that MR 30.7 has been release. Will it be better for them to jump straight to MR 30.7, or do they need to upgrade to MR30.6 first? Cheers.

Hi All. I'm new here. I have a question regarding licenses per device. When a device (AP) is not online does it consume a license? AP's that are attached to a site and offline (Basically they are spares) Do they use a license or only when they are online? Cheers AVL
