You can’t fully disable the approximate location shown in the map view when devices are connected to Meraki APs, as it’s based on network-based location tracking rather than GPS. Even if GPS permissions are revoked, the system can still estimate location using Wi-Fi triangulation. The only way to prevent this is to stop the device from connecting to networks that provide this data or to disable location analytics on the Meraki side, but this affects all connected devices, not just BYOD.
