Great documentation on the API thing. Regarding MQTT, i would recommend "MQTT Explorer" or similiar when connected to the broker. This is straight forward. Simply copy&paste the topics and process it in the next application (e.g. smart home appliance)

Hey @David-H, I just had some thoughts on what would be a good fit for the MV-Platform To start with a quote from the website: Prepare today for the unseen challenges of tomorrow with environmental data-driven insights. What kind of environmental data is useful for businesses? Environmental: -Temperature, Humidity, Gases, AQI, maybe rain, radiation/UV Light and wind Security: -Leakage, Glass-break, motion sensors, door sensors, fire/smoke Automation: -Buttons, dimmer, switches, actuators Of course, this is just my opinion, but there are a lot of manufacturers of network or other equipments who started producing weird stuff: -Ubiquiti/Unifi (Solar powered appliances, which is similar to meraki by the way) -AVM/FritzBox: Heating controller and smart-phone appliances -Amazon: Echo/gadgets last but not least google with Nest/heating/protection solution. All of them offer WiFi-access points 😀

For WiFi authentication I found this topic: https://community.meraki.com/t5/Wireless-LAN/MFA-Azure-for-SSID-Access/m-p/136766#M19154 certifactes over MFA prompt. I would go for it with VPN tunnels, too. But feel free to share your experience if you’ve found a way.

Another tool I would recommend is MQTT Explorer, it can help to get topics that might not be documented. I am using that mostly when dealing with new devices. Unfortunately I don’t got any MV or MT laying around, but that tool does a great job in exploring MQTT topics and payloads.

Oh sorry I thought that you are getting a field like ,enter confirmation’. Then the phone call (pressing #) or confirmation with the Authenticator are the only applicable options. 😕

@securingnimbu5 That’s true. If a company is willing to interact with a candidate, they often use recruitment staff. I had a more curios situation a couple years ago, my manual application was declined, instead a recruiter was reaching out to me. But the thing with Cisco is, I don’t need a change right now, but maybe at some point in my career. I think it is a great company and I like the technology.

If the service was removed or disabled for a certain reason, try to set it to an automatic mode and you will see when it is back again. DHCPv6/PD is most common. But there are other ways like 6to4

Aside from the push notification you should be able to use the offline code from MS Authenticator aswell (a time based code that changed every few seconds) For the user specific settings in Azure I would try to change it via https://aka.ms/MFAsetup (From the admin side you can also configure the sign in methods you want to provide) Another option for the user is hitting ,use another option’ at the sign in page. AFAIK there is no way to change the MFA method for a single application.

So pinging the dynamic-m DDNS service times out or the IP address you enumerated? When the config is 100% identical and ICMP is active, you should be able to ping those locations. As mentioned above I would try to reach the IP. Have you contacted your ISP?

@securingnimbu5 that’s cool. I also did an application for a job role listed on LinkedIn, heard nothing for like three months and the role is still posted. Unfortunately the process as someone who applies at Meraki is not something I would recommend.
