Try charging either in another outlet or with a cable you know is working. Then you can determine if it's outlet, or cable.

Did you check the minimum bitrate as well? Sometimes they will try to hold on to an AP if the bitrate is low enough. Try raising it to like 18.

We have a 2 Cisco 2960's stacked and uplinked the port 24 on the Meraki switch. Every so often randomly we lose connectivity to whatever is plugged into switch. (phones, ap's, etc.) Devices stay powered on but are not online. When I look at event logs I get this Core switch has priority of 1 and when i check that stack goes down then back up. Anyone experience this?

The values 13-(2472/2452 MHz) means the AP is using 40Mhz channel width because there are 2 frequencies For the 2.4Ghz band: The first number is the centre frequency the second number is the bonded channel A Plus sign + indicates the bonded channel is higher up the frequency range A Minus sign - indicates the bonded channel is lower down the frequency range. For the 5Ghz band There can be up to 4 numbers due to 80Mhz channel width (1, 2 or 4) The number between square brackets [ ] is the centre frequency

Hello guys, Has anyone else seen this where a Meraki camera when lights get turned on gets like this? Nothing is different as far as configurations and when I did reboot the port the camera was plugged into the image then corrected itself and looks like the image below. Is there something that causes this? Before After reboot

Okay so it looks like you have it Open which is good but looks like you have there sign on with Meraki authentication which you have to make users. Also you have captive portal strength on to "block all access until sign on is complete". If this is just a Guest Network with no password you would have to change it to None (direct access) unless you want to add a splash page.

drusher101 I would try first to create an open network with no password and see how it behaves use Meraki DHCP. Also I know there will be problems if you try to setup WPA/WPA2 encryption just try WPA2. I guess what I'm trying to say is check your settings because you're getting an access denied. Let me know if I can further assist you.

You can "tag" and AP and give it a name for example you can give 5 AP's the same tag name if you're collecting data for all 5 or you can just tag 1 AP if you want singular. Do this by going to Wireless/Access Points/ Pick your AP there should be a tag option there.

Do you mean that you're already using a security license? Your equipment will operate but I'm not sure that you cannot apply any configurations. If your license is already in use by another Z1 you need an additional.

Tried aerohive and installed it at home. It really is Meraki like when you have to enroll and there is a lot of options. I guess you have to get used to it and learn their "way" but I haven't seen anything simpler than Meraki.

I would say you have to check your surroundings. What kind of shop is it? Does this location have any other electronics with radio waves? May there be interference? What wireless card do your machines use? What's the structure of the building? Even something as simple as a microwave could be causing interference. Meraki also provides tools within the Wireless tab called "RF spectrum" click on your AP and check how everything is running. https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Monitoring_and_Reporting/RF_Spectrum_Page_Overview

We use Meraki MDM at our school. I've been with Meraki since before it was bought by Cisco and hands down has been great for managing the iPads. Easy app deployments (even easier with VPP), policy management can be made a breeze, and tags works wonders. We use geo-fencing so that the iPad alerts us if it leaves a perimeter, different apps per grade, even DEP (Device Enrollment Program) makes it easy to enroll and supervise. If you like simplicity continue Meraki.
