Local VLAN's are disabled already its enabled on the WAN and getting both v4, and v6 but there is no option t disable V6

I found this on my MX merkai and not sure if its OK I have only WAN1 with both IP's V4, and V6 Is this OK and tried to disable IPv6 on my WAN could not find way to do that Any advise I have complains of slow internet

I have MX67W And created 2 SSID's one for the staff and one for Guest Can i limit the bandwidth for the Guest SSID? If have MR AP's then its easy and the config is on the SSID setup. But as i am using the bult-in MX67W i cant find that option on the SSID setting! Tried to check the SD-WAN and QoS section by creating new policy and add my local Guest IP range and set the bandwidth but i was not sure if its the right way to do it as the limit bandwidth was max 5Mbps but i need to give them more like 50Mbps. Any suggestions ?

Hi, Trying to use Windows server as VPN server using L2TP protocol behind MX I know that L2TP VPN will need DP 1701 — UDP 500 UDP 4500 NAT-T Protocol 50 ESP As the Windows server behind the MX NAT devise and the windows server dose not have public IP I was readding about this and its fact that port forward will not help for the ESP protocol and i should use NAT-T instead So i think i need to change the registry on the Windows server to allow NAT-T, and then end user machine registry to allow NAT-T but do i need to do any thing from the MX to allow NAT-T maybe one to one NAT but this will need an extra public IP Any ideas if someone have same setup ? Thanks

I found the issue its the Wins server But i could not find away to setup the wins server on my DHCP setting if you have DNS server you can set that on on the Custom nameservers on the DHCP, but i dont know where can i force my wins server on the DHCP Only Client VPN you can see the Custom nameserver for wins not the DHCP I remember that the we have the DHCP option but dont know the ode for Wins any help please

I have two offices that I'm going to connect with a site-to-site VPN. I have two Meraki MX64's and have setup the site-to-site using Hub (Mesh) mode. I performed a test of the VPN it seemed to work well. I could ping between sites, and i can ping the windows server that is my DNS and shared folder server, I am unable to ping the domain name or server name. I have 4 sites on that site to site VPN group accessing the same shared folder with no issues, only this remote site i have the site to site VPN up and i can ping both sites with no issues and i can map the shared folder by IP but i need the domain controller to be reachable by name not IP. I have configured the DNS server on the DHCP to point to that DNS server Custom nameservers similar to other location but again hostname is not resolving. Any suggestions or ideas ? Thanks

Appreciated your support on this case Today i have windows server been used as VPN server, and now since we have the Meraki i need to shift the VPN from the windows server to the Meraki and i still need to use the active directory for user authentication. I found this document but my question is I have the following documentation and my question is https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Content_Filtering_and_Threat_Protection/Configuring_Active_Directory_with_MX_Security_Appliances Do i need to to add the active directory on Log into Dashboard and navigate to Security & SD-WAN > Configure > Active Directory first then configure the VPN authentications or i have to do the client VPN authentication directly? And can i do that in parallel to the to the existing service on the VPN windows server for easy migration ?

In order to block per country you will need an Advance security licenses. But in Z3 this licenses is not available, so you cant do that using the Z3.

Any suggestion here ? Is there is away to test the the download between both location to identify if its an ISP provider issue, like a software to be installed in one location and download from the other location ? Any ideas ?

I have RAS windows server behind the Meraki, and we are using it as VPN server, using PPTP All the users are connected with no issues, we have only one of the staff trying to connect and he can connect successfully but the problem is he is getting only 1-4Mbps download and upload is getting the full speed 10Mbps His home internet speed is 400Mbps before connect to the VPN When connect to the VPN the download speed is 1-4Mbps onlu The main office where the VPN server is the ISP link is 300Mbps upload, and 300 Mbps download and its not congested I created a client VPN using the Meraki MX and getting the same result of slow downloads (so the issue is not the server) Tested the VPN to another location windows server and the speed was perfect Checked the Merkai MX log nothing wrong, we disabled the IPS to check no change in performance What could be the issue in the Meraki to cause this slowness We have around 40 of the staff using the VPN with no issue, only this staff Any suggestions what to check on the merkai ?

When you configure the DHCP on the Meraki you can select Cisco Umbrella as your DNS server, which is free And there is an option in the threat defense to enable the Cisco Umbrella and i assume your to be subscribe with Cisco Umbrella to enable this feature My question is what's the difference and benefit if use the Cisco Umbrella if i have the advance security licenses and the threat protections enabled Advanced Malware Protection (AMP), Intrusion detection and prevention, and Content Filtering? Thanks
