I am probably missing the setting, but is there a way to turn off Auto Tags , i have 2 profiles installed on 1 Ipad which is messing with Imessage settings , i can't change the settings for the tag "IOS Devices" profile because it will mess up other ipads , but when i goto this particular Ipad i see my manual tag but i can't see how to remove the Auto tag " IOS Devices on this IPAD Thanks

Yes Sir, you are correct ,, certain settings can only be applied to Supervised devices added through DEP

To clarify Microsoft wants 27 PY for each user not VPP correct? reason why i asked, on my VPP it says free. Sharepoint app is for IOS 7 + so should be good with your devices . alternative would be Polaris or OpenOffice

That has always been Unchecked . what IOS 12 does is defaults to "allow changes" under location services what is now Screen time it was Restrictions

because it Installs or Downloads the IOS to the device , but i get what ya mean it is misleading . same thing happened to me when i took over the SM for my company

To clarify the phone its self is still not IOS 12.1,, from my experience in this case the end user has to install the New IOS manually , and then open the SM app to check it and it should reflect on the Dashboard . the IOS update push we have on dashboard is the push for the IOS to download not install

That Bug fix only seems to apply for it not charging , I'm referring to Chargers getting hot and or melting . i know its probably a Electrical issue but just wanted to ask just in case.

As of right now on IOS 12 i have screen time enabled and pw protected . Content & Privacy Restriction turn on > Location Services Dont allow from there if i go back to main settings on left, scroll down to Meraki MDM . LOCATION is grayed out and can not be changed

Yes i can confirm that if you previously had it in restrictions ( now screen time ) to Don't allow changes to location , it can revert back to Allow after grading to 12

I have the same issue with all of my Ipads , I went through added who is who on the Notes and then added that into the Columns

that would have to be done on the device itself , Apple doesn't allow that much control on a device in that nature of things

Under Screen time ( you also have to have a Screen time passcode set in place , if you don't want the users to change anything so i wouldn't recommend it set to the same code to unlock the device , select Content & Privacy Restrictions, turn on Content and privacy restrictions , then under ALLOW CHANGES under Privacy it has Account Changes select Don't Allow
