Do you have the Devices in hand or are they out in the field,, if they are out in the field the Ipads will need to be on WIFI already and Unlocked in order for the settings to be pushed out. Don't think you would have to become a reseller,,, if they are Company phones then goto the seller , Verizon,Sprint and have them add the devices into DEP

You can "manage" any device ,, as far as DEP ( that is where you get more control in Meraki ) , we have our Approved vendors submit them in DEP for us. I.E. Sprint,Verizon, CDW Found this helpful? Give me some Kudos! (click on the little up-arrow below)

@Haydn , so im back on this Icloud acct project again , I've went though apple to provide ownership so all good on that front for this original ipad i posted about My question is You said you use MDM ( I am assuming meraki ) and apple ID's with business emails is a Apple ID the same as a Icloud acct ? because i have another Ipad i have to provide ownership of, because we cant gain access to the Icloud acct attached to this IPAD

Passcode can be configured not to change and accounts ,, Screen time can prevent a few things also Our Ipads have a Passcode to unlock and then for Screentime a Passcode only known by IT You can also set a PassCode Policy Via Meraki MDM Profile settings

no we don't support BYOD for IOS they are only Ipads , the 1 Iphone we have was purchased through Apple which is put through DEP , we have a handful of legacy ipads out there that are meraki managed only though a generic IT controlled icloud account

I know how to set Geo fencing policies and have a few set in place , Does anyone know if there is a way to have the IOS device go into Lost Mode if it leaves the set Location ?

We had a similar issue , easiest fix was to use the Micro Outlook app instead of the Mail client on IOS

I believe the only way for the update to go through is if the device doesn't have a pass-code or fingerprint set to unlock
