Seems like an odd one! We have numerous MX’s deployed all blocking such countries as India etc. Not one is blocking google DNS. Why not switch the external DNS over to Cisco Umbrella: 208.67. 222.222. 208.67. 220.220.

Hi @soundman353 @As @CptnCrnch says try running a packet capture on the MX100 outbound interface. Run the output through Wireshark and it should give you a good idea of what’s going on.

I get different views for different customers but it’s only showing Latency graphs in the networks where devices are experiencing latency issues. Maybe your wifi network is clean so hence nothing to show

Hi @freddy7 . If you apply it globally on the MX then you’re limited to a single rule and are therefore restricting all networks. Whereby if you apply on the MR’s you could have different policies per SSID.

Hi @RJAC Have you cHacked your firewall settings for the ssid Wireless > Configure > Firewalling and Traffic Shaping Theres a setting there that blocks access to the wired LAN. This could be stopping DNS lookups and therefore internet access

Sounds like the SIP Keepalives are being lost/dropped. Do you have SIP-OPTIONS enabled as this will frequently talk to the provider to keep the SIP Trunks up?
