e readers and splash screen

I have reports of e-reader (i.e Kindle reader) that when they try to use our public wi fi they can't load the splash screen. I understand that it is not a full browser that they load. Is there a way to work around this that anyone has found?

The error is:

error code: -110( net;;ERR_SSL_CLIENT_AUTH_CERT_NEEDED)

We provide wi fi for public use,  so keep in mind. I don't have any capabilities to change of touch customer devices.

You can allow the device to bypass this.

By the way, this is a Kindle issue.
