Not exactly sure what information you're looking for here.

A correctly deployed WiFi network is generally considered to be sufficient for connecting most users/devices.

 

However, this will always be dependent on the use case - For example users who are downloading and sharing hundred-gigabyte files all day (such as video editing) will probably be better served with wired Gigabit connections.

As always and as @Brash already mentioned, it always depends.

There are even Success-Reports of Wireless-only offices. For me, I am a bit old-fashioned. If it doesn't move, cable it. Although, I have my MacStudio on WLAN as this is faster than my Gigabit switch link ... 🙂
