WiFi 7 6ghz only SSID not broadcasting
Testing out one of them CW9178Is and noticed that the SSID will not broadcast if you disable all but the 6Ghz radio. Can anyone else confirm this?
-802.11be on/off
-AFC on/off
-Manually set different channels, widths and power

I had a CW9166I that just didn't broadcast 6GHz, even though it said it was. I'm the end once I'd added another AP to the SSID and found it was okay, I RMAed the 9166 and the replacement works as expected...

For how long has the 9178 been online, since first boot?
What is the regulatory domain showing on the Access Point status page on the dashboard? Is it matching your current regulatory domain?
If not, the AP has most likely not gotten determined it's regulatory domain yet. Documentation states that it should not take more than around 30 minutes, depending on conditions, but I've seen it take at least 8 hours or so, before it detected its regulatory domain - even in very good conditions.
And there is nothing else to do, other than wait. Unless Support can help it along.

What encryption are you using? It needs to be WPA3 for 6GHz.

If you disable all but the 6GHz it may take quite some time for you to see the beacon over 59 channels. Also, not all clients support in-band discovery on 6GHz. RNR is your friend....

Was what I was thinking. However, using spectrum analyzer I wasn't seeing anything on the AP's assigned 6Ghz channel when running just that and no other band. Once I turn 5 back on the 6 comes back to life.

Yea thinking this might be the case as it seems the support ticket is slowly arriving at the same conclusion.
