Hi,
Now we start to see on different OSs (Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, etc...) support for WPA3 but when we could have some visibility about WPA3 for Meraki MR ?
Should it will be supported on existing MR's (which one) ?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Nicolas
Solved! Go to solution.
We are actively working on it. Coming later this year.
The latest news I have seen was:
All of our 802.11ac Wave 2 Access Point customers will receive the latest WPA3 functionality via a seamless cloud update.
Source:

No word on timing.
considering that source was from 2018, that would be old news still
To get full Wi-Fi 6 certification WPA3 will be required iirc. So I fully expect Meraki to add it soon.

Good news. Have a look here:

WPA3 should already be available for testing via NFO.
Hope that helps!
It seems this will be following the now-traditional Meraki format of being promised Eventually™ and 2-3 years from now we'll still be asking and waiting for a timeline. See other oft-requested features (IPv6, SSL VPN etc) for more examples...
Hi,
Any idea the Firmware 27.x will be available to test WPA3 on MR52 and MR84 ?
Thanks in advance.

@AlexanderI think your previous reply regarding the beta should be flagged as the correct answer.

WPA3 is there since a few times but no support for WPA3 and 802.1x with Meraki Cloud Authentication !
Is there any plan to support it ?
Thanks in advance.
