Small Network Router - Gigabit Considerations - MR30H

Hi I was wondering if anyone knew the what the top speeds were for the MR30H.

The network is small geographically, about the size of a small office. In terms of users/devices I would say 30 at most. I was wondering if the MR30H would be enough to maintain gigabit throughout with the ISP connection.

If the MR30H cannot cut 1 gbps throughput, what would you all recommend for a small network? I would prefer to keep costs low if possible..

Thank You.

AP wise, I would take a look at an MR33 or an MR45.  Somewhere around that area.

Thank you. Just to be sure. It looks like this means that the max throughput would be 833 mbps for a single band. The 1.3 gbps is listed as dual band aggregate.

Has the total throughput of the device been verified to perform at >1 gbps? I was hoping someone would have speed test results.

If you are interested in WiFi and have 20 or 30 users - don't use the MR30H.  It is intended for much smaller environments.

You won't get 1Gbps throughput on any wireless AP unless its in a lab with crystal clean RF running 80/160MHz with a single client.

If you are talking about using it as a security appliance (you posted in WiFi) then you are going to need a much bigger unit.

Cost wise, take a look at the MX67.  You nomally get 450Mb/s.

If Gigabit is an absolute requirement you'll need to go to an MX250 - but that would be quite expensive for a small office.
