Question around MR74 and MA-ANT-27

Hi All

I have a question around the antenna for the MR74

The MR74 has N type connectors at the top for a 2.4 and another for 5Ghz radio.

If I want to use the MA-ANT-27 antenna with this can it only go into one of the radio's at any time? for example I can run it at 2.4 or 5 depending which radio its connected to?

If I wanted both bands at once would I need to use the MR84 ?

You’re correct, the MR74 has two 2.4Ghz connectors on top, and two 5GHz connectors on the bottom. The MA-ANT-27 is a dual band antenna, but only has two connectors - so it will connect to either the 2.4GHz or 5 GHz connectors (not both). If you want to connect to both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz radios then you will need two of the MA-ANT-27 antennas - one connecting to the top, one to the bottom.
