Question about MG + MDM for location placement based on cell tower

Hello,

I recently had a customer ask if the MG had the ability to show via the Meraki dashboard the best placement for the MG because the CradlePoint cellular gateway could suggest the best cell tower and placement i.e. north, south, etc. via its Netcloud interface.

Would the MDM + MG do the same, or I am totally off base?

The strength under status in the dashboard under Cellular Gateway? I'm aware of that but this customer was stating the NetCloud interface will recommend placement and cell tower to choose from, does Meraki have an equivalent to that?

I assume by cell tower you mean LTE provider, in which case tower selection is based upon your SIM cards APN as well as carriers that Meraki supports.
