Mac users having issues with Wifi (Client not authenticated)

Hi,

We use MR-42 's in our headquarters. We recently deployed few Aruba APs with same SSID's. Whitelisted under rouge SSIDs.

Windows users and newer version of MAC's doesn't have any issues connecting to both APs, But older MACs (before 2015) have issue sometimes connecting to private SSID (authenticates with Radius Server). But connects to public(authenticates with preshared key) perfectly fine.

Below are the logs I'm seeing on Meraki

If you have identfied older mac are the only devices affected I would say the issue is probably the version of OS they are running.

Can you confirm what version they are actually using. Also is the issue present on both Meraki and Aruba AP's?

I agree with @BlakeRichardson .

I have had no end of problems with older Macbook Pro's, especially around roaming when there are multiple APs.
