MR36 Unreachable after moving to different Cisco switch

I got a Meraki MR36 AP configured and working, moved it to a different Cisco switch on the same network. Now I can no longer ping the device and dashboard shows it is offline. Is this because of moving to a different switch? I do have this on the dashboard:

Ethernet 1
1000 Mbit, full duplex
ALS7 / GigabitEthernet1/0/4
This device may be unplugged or it was connected to a new device as of about 4 hours ago.

Will it eventually re-find the WiFi AP or do I need to do something else? Thank you.

Hi all, it was a layer 1 issue. Cable wasn't terminated correctly. It was showing as power granted and recognized the device as Meraki AP, but when I used a cable tester I saw pin 1 was no good. Re-terminated, dashboard found it right away.  Thanks all.

Have you compared the port configuration settings (port that it was taken from and port where it is now connected - native VLAN and Allowed VLANs)?  Is the new port on that switch enabled?

Port configuration is identical, it is enabled and supplying power to AP.

Are the switch uplinks/downlinks on that switch configured to all the right native VLAN and Allowed VLANs set to allow traffic for your AP (management VLAN and SSIDs)?

What are the devices?  Meraki or other?  What model?  Any way to see (show us) the configurations to help understand and guide?  Static IPs or DHCP?

Cisco C9200 switch. Original switch was C9200CX, original port configuration:

interface GigabitEthernet1/0/4
description Temp Meraki AP
switchport access vlan 140
switchport trunk allowed vlan 40,140
switchport mode trunk
switchport nonegotiate

New switch, C9200 switch port configuration:

interface GigabitEthernet1/0/27
switchport access vlan 140
switchport trunk allowed vlan 40,140
switchport mode trunk
switchport nonegotiate

Management VLAN is 140, SSID VLAN is 40. Trunks are configured the same with both VLANs allowed on trunks.

Meraki AP MR36 is set to static IP. Both switches can ping the management gateway which is also set on the Meraki AP.

Kind of a big deal
Kind of a big deal

switchport access vlan 140
switchport trunk allowed vlan 40,140
switchport mode trunk

This is not the cause of your issues but that config doesn't make sense.

Yeah the switchport access was a holdover when first getting it configured before turning it into a trunk. Shouldn't cause an issue but I'll remove it.

My config looks more like this.

interface TenGigabitEthernet1/0/45

 description Cisco AP-1 - 1st FL

 switchport trunk native vlan 5

 switchport trunk allowed vlan 5,10,100-104,3001

 switchport mode trunk
