MR 46 APs frequently generating the DFS alert

Hi everyone,

I have deployed MR46 APs at one residence. Randomly multiple APs generates the DFS events alert. And then they automatically comes online.

What can be done to prevent these alerts permanently?

Thanks,
Niraj Chaudhari

The only thing you can do is check your event log and filter for DFS Events. See if they are all on the same channel and then under the RF disable that channel. Or you if don't have too many APs disable the UNII-2 bands which are used by Radar sources. Your AP's have to listen for the RADAR signal and if detected they have to move off the channel for 30 minutes.

@Niraj_C the above is correct assuming these are real DFS events. If you believe there should be no other wireless devices, such as airport radars, that can cause these DFS events in your area and that these DFS events are false positives, please open a case with Support.
