How do you measure the benfit of AI-RRM

Hi we have deployed AI-RRM at site that CCI. Meraki dashboard reported improvements. Complaints for wifi issues from end users continued. We then deployed an RF profile where we reduced the power and increased the RX-SOP value from -95dBM to -85dBm and this seems to have had a much bigger impact. The cost of purchasing the upgrade licences from Enterprise to Advance is approx £65K to cover the organisation and naturally the customer wants a cost benefit analysis.

I am struggling to work out how to provide this. I can switch it off but how do provide an empirical value on the benefit.

Take a look at this discussion.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Have you taken a look at the Meraki Dashboard AI-RRM Insights?

The Dashboard provides before-and-after comparisons and peer network analytics for KPIs such as RF Score, Channel Change Count, and High Co-channel Interference.

The before-and-after view shows two weeks of performance trending charts, allowing you to see the impact of AI-RRM over time.

Is that part of the licensed feature. I only see the first two weeks after turning it on. I am trying to justify the £65K in License uplift to the customer.

The summary screen is very useful.

This insight is very useful , however ( I don't understand why ) if the score is LOWER after enabling AI-RRM , Insight won't show the score. It will only show up if it's higher , which in my case isn't always true. On 15 networks , 6 of them the score is lower.

Have you tried using the built-in RF profiles, like "Open Office"?  I use them a lot.

I barely have to touch the manual settings these days.

Where do these exist. The only two profiles I have are the default indoor and outdoor.

Wireless>Radio profiles.

Click the RF profiles tab and then "New Profile.

Can chose from 5 preset ones.
