Download Rate MR36

Good morning,
We have been experiencing a problem for some time with our Meraki MR36 terminals.

Indeed, when we want to download a file from a server or we want to copy a file from our PC to a server, the throughput is relatively low. (We are at around 9-10 MB/s)

Using the LAN from this same PC, we are at around 85-90 MB/s

I updated the Wifi card on the PC, our MR36s are in version 30.7.1.

We are connected to a Cisco 9200 switch (1Gb/s speed per port)

Do you have an idea to improve these flow rates?

Thank you for your help

Hi @ADMINSRS - there’s a section in this document in improving throughput

I'm not an employee of Cisco/Meraki. My posts are based on Meraki best practice and what has worked for me in the field.

@ADMINSRS -please help with the following information so tat we can assist:

  1. What wireless adapters are in use and what driver version are they on?
  2. How far are they from the AP?
  3. How many devices are connected to the AP?
  4. What frequency band(s) are in use? 2.4, 5 etc.

Cheers!
