Do MR44 AP's retain config if booted without internet access

Hi

We are looking to perform an "AP on a Stick" survey at a new site using an MR44 access-point. However the site currently has no internet access.

We could get the survey engineer to provide a 4G router + PoE switch. However, I'd like to know, if we preconfigured an AP from another site, would the AP retain any config when powered off, then powered on at the new site without access to the Meraki Cloud?

Kind of a big deal

It should keep the config it was 30 minuted online after the last config change.

You could better use the site survey mode

Site survey mode is definitely the way to go here.   More generally, it's well worth being aware of the details here, pertaining to things like Safe Config:   https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Cross-Platform_Content/Behavior_during_Conne...
