Connecting to our Meraki wireless network SSID using Okta authentication

Hi Everyone,

I'm searching for a solution for authenticating with Okta using our wireless network that working through meraki.

We want it to be exactly like the normal PSK password method but with the Okta credentials instead of just password, and also agent-less so the RADIUS method is less relevant.

If it could be even a splash page that direct users to the Okta SSO when they need to authenticate to get internet access it will be good as well, since the only option for a 3rd party auth that the Support opened for us is Google.

Please advice,

Thanks in advance !

Hi,

Thank you for your response with this guideline..

Few questions regarding this one:

1. It is an agent-less application that does not has to be installed in the user computer ?

2. This authentication method use the user authentication from Meraki side or Okta side ?  since we need the user to authenticate with Okta credentials in order to use the network SSID we are using now.

Thanks again.

Hello Yaad,

You must install the agent on your server.

You don't need to install anything on the computer.
