Combining Existing MR20 AP to an Exisiting MX Meraki Appliance

Hey!

I know how to do this a long way, which is fine...but is there a way to combine an already existing AP network and an existing MX network together? Basically I want the AP to show up as a 'wireless' tab under the MX network.

I know I can get that result by deleting the AP network all together, then add it to the MX network separately and just recreate the SSID info since it wipes it out when you delete it, but I didn't know if there was a better way to combine the AP and Meraki networks and keep all of the AP info in tact.

Just thought I would ask! Thanks!

Yes there is an easier way. If they are currently a Wireless network and an Appliance network then you can combine them from the list of networks, see this document https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Organizations_and_Networks/Combined_Dashboar....

If they're currently both combined networks - or one of them is - then you should split that network, delete the empty networks and then combine the remaining Wireless and Appliance networks as above.
