Client could not associate with the WIFI getting error reason='invalid_mdie'

Hi Team,

I have a Printer which got disconnected from Network and then it tries to connect to Multiple AP's within a span of seconds. It tries but never pass association step and the logs shows reason='invalid_mdie'.

Are you using a network with the correct PSK? How is WPA encryption configured? I suggest leaving WPA2 only to test. Also, how are the minimum bitrate configured in your RF profile?

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

From what i read it could be related to

802.11r

Do you have that enabled on the ssid?

 

Also, try update the client drivers /firmware
