Chromebooks not showing as Chrome o/s

New school year. For our wireless, all but seven student chromebooks are showing as "Other" for the o/s and not "Chrome os" as in previous years. It really helps us troubleshoot when we can sort by o/s and verify students are using the proper device.  Something I need to check somewhere? Thx.

Hey @MisG 

We pull the information from the HTTP user-agent string, explained here:

Have the devices send an HTTP Get first and if it doesn't auto-resolve you can take a PCAP to see what they are reporting in that field

Thanks for the suggestion. These are student owned devices. Is there a way in Google Admin to do this? I realize this is a Meraki space, but I need something that isn't user dependent. Thx.

When you are looking at the client, click ont he little "Flag" symbol to let Meraki know that it is not correct.

Thanks. Been doing this but I really don't want to do it 300 plus times, and I need to make sure they actually are chromebooks before doing it. It used to read properly so not sure what changed. Thx.
