Actually I think you can. There's a setting in network wide/general that allows you to set what happens to clients wired up to APs. If you contact Meraki support they can also activate port profiles for other models than MR30H.

That setting is when the MR is operating in mesh mode, and it causes it to bridge the LAN from a remote mesh node.

Okay, I haven't tested it so I'm not sure.

That said, the beta feature is definitely available to use the secondary wired port for clients. It's documented here:

https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Client_Addressing_and_Bridging/Port_Profiles

But as mentioned earlier you need to get in contact with Meraki support to enable it.

Correct, you may use port profiles for this functionality.  Port profiles are available by default on the MR30H AP, and it's the same mechanism on APs with 2 physical ports (MR52/53/84 today).  The AP must not be a mesh repeater, and the feature needs to be enabled by Meraki Support.  Hope that helps!

Dear diary,

I hope one day that Meraki will release a list of all of its wonderful hidden features for us common folk.

I second this... make this an option for the CMNA/CMNO cert holders and the certs will have more value.

An MX84 has a single WAN port.   So the second port for a referring to is a standard LAN port (unless changed via the local status page).

So as long as it is all appropriately configured then a PC can be plugged into it.

Oops,  i misread this as MX84 instead of  MR84.   @AjitKumar  is correct.
