CCX-Naming

Hello everyone!

I'm looking for clarification and I wish someone can help here.

1) Cisco's CCX and Meraki's CCX-Naming? Are these the same thing under the hood but marketed in different flavours?

2) Is there something called CCX Tag Protocol and CCX Extensions?

I don't know the answer.

CCX is super old.  I think the last version was something like CCXv5.  I don't think Cisco has done any work on CCX in a long time.  Companies like Intel removed CCX support some time ago as it was a legacy technology.

I don't think I would do anything new that relied on CCX existing.

The last CCX version dates from 2007 if I'm not mistaken.

I believe you.  If it has been 10+ years since it had any work done on it and related to IT - I'd call it legacy.  🙂
