Bypass Authentication in MR if Mac Addresses are whitelisted

Hello Team,

Does all authentication page such as sign-on will be Bypassed if MAC-Addresses is whitelisted?

I consolidated MAC addresses of our users and whitelisted them in a SSID.

If their device will be connected to the MR AP, do they need to sign-on, or authenticate?

Thanks in advance.

No they do not need to authenticate if you assigned the mac to the assigned SSID.

Hello @kYutobi ,

Even if my setup is this? I have already loaded the MAC Addresses in the client's page and whitelisted them in a particular SSID.

Make it open on association and for authentication(splash page) use Meraki authentication for the method you're trying to achieve.
