AP meraki on switch Cisco

I have access point meraki but I am connected to a Cisco switch so if I connect the APs in the Cisco swicth in a trunk port the AP does not register in the dashboard.

If I connect the AP in a swicth access it takes IP by DCHP and registers in the dashboard. And the clients take IP from Meraki ie NAT mode: Use Meraki DHCP.

How do I configure the APs to be in a trunk port of the Cisco Swicth and that is the swicth Cisco who from DHCP to the clients ????

@nst1 How many VLANS will the AP be dealing with? if its only one there is no need to have the AP's switch port setup as a trunk port.

It will be the administration VLAN of the APs and VLAN for clients IP.

Ok so with the port set as a trunk port do you have the native VLAN set to what your admin VLAN and you have the client VLAN tagged as well?

For example

Administration = VLAN 10

Clients = VLAN 20

switch port would be Untagged VLAN10 and Tagged with VLAN 20

On the Cisco switch side the native VLAN would be 10 in this example.
