Hello @Ashraf,

Meraki AP's come with "Air Marshall" which utilises the extra scanning radio within Meraki AP's to scan for any wireless security threats within your wireless network. Please refer to the following article for more information - https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Monitoring_and_Reporting/Air_Marshal.

Regarding the coverage provided by MR34's please refer to the MR34 datasheet which outlines the RF performance characteristics - https://meraki.cisco.com/lib/pdf/meraki_datasheet_MR34.pdf

Air Marshall is the same as the Rouge detector in AireOS technology. So we can assume that from the datasheet specifications, the Meraki APs do not support clean air.

In this link, you can read about the clean air technology:

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

The real question is. What "chip" does the RF analysis on the new 916x APs.

They all have the CleanAIR Pro "chip/board" inside of them, because of the common hardware.

But is Air Marshal and / or RF Spectrum using this chip ? or just the client facing normal Wifi chip ?
