802.1x events for a Open SSID

Hi all,

I am having a SSID authenticating via Open +Click through captive portal. But there are multiple 802.1x Authentication events can be seen in the event log from this SSID. My concern is without using any 802.1x authentication methods why 802.1x can be seen regarding this SSID.

Can anyone please explain this. I have attached a snap of an event.

Thank you

@ww , Thanks for the reply.

After a every 802.11 Association event, a 802.1x Authentication event can be seen for every respective client. As per my understanding, 802.11 Association events happen when the client moving one ap to other. By the time of every association event why a authentication event occurs?. After the successful first authentication, user is not experiencing any captive portal pop-up for proceeding.
