MR42 - Cisco Meraki - Cannot connect to SSIDS

Hi,

We have several Meraki MR42 throughout the offices globally, and they seem to have issues. In office A - we have several 3 SSIDs, when password is changed, one of the SSIDS dissapear from Wifi Searching, and it appear only after a restart of the device.

In office B - we have 3 SSIDS, but suddently only to 1 of them people can connect to, the other 2 are visible when searched for, but gives cannot connect. We tried resetting the device from Tools -> Reset, but issue still present.

Any ideeas how to fix this ?

Are these new installed MR´s? Or did this problem just came up after days/weeks/months/years?

DId you verify your access control settings are correct? I´m thinking of correctly set up vlan tagging and these vlans are correctly configured in your switches (not only access ports, uplinks, too).

Hello Marc, thanks for such quick reply. For Office A the issue is present for few months now, but beucase the restart fixes it there was no rush to identify the cause. For office B, it suddently stopped working 2 weeks ago, something like that. In the past it also was problematic, but a reset would help fix it, this time no.

No new MR's, same products that was suddently have issues.

What kind of networks are these?

WPA2 PSK / WPA2-Enterprise?
Splashpage or without anything?

What does the eventlog show?

Something interessting shown in Wireless - monitor - Health - Connections issues?

What firmware are you running?  MR42s can run 28.6 and we have been running that for quite a while now on ours.

So its WPA2 enterprise - do you see the request on the radius server, in the event log? Meraki log looks like radus is not responding.

Was the WPA2 Enterprise ever working?

WPA2 Enterprise was working, we will check the radius event logs
