How many accesspoints for a big office?

Hey, It´s planned to rebulid a new big office with about 3.500 square meters, 50m x 70m

No walls or big obstacles.

I want to install MR46 or better.

What is your decision to avoid interferrences but not to get gaps in the wiFi quality?

Is there a typical distance for to place the accesspoints?

thanks

I'd go with 15 to 20 APs in that case.

I would check this out before implementing anything to make sure that what you need fits all the requirements.

Site survey....site survey....site survey.

Although unless all the equipment, furniture, partitions and people are in place, the survey could well be a bit of a guesstimate...

@redsector what will the Wi-Fi be used for, data or VoIP, if VoIP then remember each AP radio should have a max of ten clients at any one time so more smaller APs is better than fewer large APs.

If there are less than 120 or so users, I'd run with about 4 to 6.

Up to 350 users are planned to work there. Office software, SAP, video meeting.

I'd go with 15 to 20 APs in that case.
