Authentication failed due to an EAP session timeout; the EAP session with the access client

We are using 802.1X with custom RADIUS

the network connectivity is good i tested all of that

i added MY Meraki MR's as RADIUS clients, I set the shared secret.

my testing shows the following error in the windows logs

Authentication failed due to an EAP session timeout; the EAP session with the access client

Take a look at the radius log to see if you can find usefull logging.

Or take packet captures to see if the packets are send from the ap and received at the radius. And the way back from the radius to the ap

I assume the MR can ping the RADIUS server.

Try a simpler RADIUS secret.  I have occasionally seen a RADIUS server configured with a secret and it couldn't support some of the characters in that secret.
