It can be tricky - and there are several factors to consider (i.e. are downstream switch and APs using static or DHCP IP addresses)?

1. I typically create the new subnet/VLAN at the MX (192.168.1.0/24).  If it that subnet/VLAN exists already, go to step 2.

2. I would then change the (switch/AP) device IP addresses and VLAN if static. If DHCP, then change your VLAN ID on the device.  And quickly thereafter make adjustments to the native VLAN TRUNK uplink/downlink ports.

3. The last step would be to change the native (management VLAN) on the switch settings page last.

Others might do in sequence differently - this has worked for me every time.  Hope it helps and good luck.

Yes, you would want to create (or change) the native VLAN on the MX as well as updating the management VLAN on switches and update trunk ports and firewall rules (if applicable) to reflect the change.

Also, a reminder in the DASHBOARD > Switch > Configure > Switch Settings (at the top) to change the management (native) VLAN.

It is generally recommended to start making the native VLAN changes at the access layer switches (also known as edge switches) and work your way upstream.

So, you reccomend me that  the first step must be change the native vlan in the switch settings  page, and the second step is change the native vlan on the MX???

Another question, if my network segment is 192.168.3.0/24, when I make the change, I have to change the network for example to the network segment 192.168.1.0/24 or can I still keep the same segment 192.168.3.0/24???

Thanks in advance
