Aumentar o escopo da rede

Boa tarde,

 

Atualmente utilizo um firewall open source (BrazilFW) na minha rede, mas peguei emprestado um Meraki MX64 para testar. Estou gostando muito, porém me deparei com a seguinte situação:

 

Na minha rede utilizo as faixas de IP 192.168.0.2 até 192.168.1.254, exemplo abaixo de como está setado no escopo da rede do firewall atual:

No Meraki, na parte do DHCP, coloquei a seguinte configuração:

E em Addressing & VLANs coloquei assim:

Alguém sabe me informar se o Meraki vai distribuir os IP's para as estações conforme é no meu firewall atual, ou preciso fazer mais alguma configuração?

O MX vai distribuir endereços IP da sua range DHCP, first come first serve. A reserva DHCP que você configurou acima vai basicamente bloquear todos os endereços IP, então você terá que configurar estaticamente ou no MX ou nos clientes.

Eu confirmo o que ele disse! Se você reserva os endereços, você está na verdade removendo-os da sua pool DHCP. Sem essa configuração de reserva de IPs, o MX vai agir como seu servidor DHCP sem problemas.

Does the old network use two /24 or one /23 ?

The MX will hand out IP Addresses from its DHCP range, first come first serve. The DHCP reservation you have above is basically blocking out all of your IP Addresses, so it will require DHCP static reservations either on the MX or client side.

Então entendi errado essa função de reservas de IP, achei que ele iria reservar e distribuir essas faixas pelo DHCP quando algum dispositivo conectasse na rede.

 

Quer dizer que se eu deixar assim, esses IP's vão ficar liberados apenas para os MAC's que eu incluir na opção abaixo "Fixed IP assignments"?

 

Mas outra questão é, como eu vou saber que o MX vai seguir esse escopo da rede de 0.1-0.254 - 1.1-1.254?

 

 

@jeansouza  Tudo baseado na sua configuração de VLAN. O MX vai usar as subredes como pool DHCP e distribuir IPs dentro delas, exceto os que você configurar como reserved (reservados). Os reservados serão usados para configuracão estática de dispositivos, ou como fixed IP assignment, como você mesmo falou.
