switch 9300 vlan ID 1100,1200

Hi,

I'm trying to create a new vlans on the switch 9300L ,on the uplink trunk port

vlan id 1100

vlan id 1200

I get an error message that it is not possible to establish more than 1000 vlans .

I don't have 1000 vlans. I have about 30 vlans but some of them are over id 1000
is it possible ?

Not sure if related or same scenario but sharing in the event it helps you:

C9300-M VLAN 1-1000 quirks

Catalyst 9300/X/L-M Series Installation Guide has a NOTE about VLANs outside of 1-1000 for your consideration.

The list must be less than a 1000 vlans total. Your list is well over a thousand

So 1-998,1100,1200 would be valid for an example or 1-500,600-700,1100-1200 and so on

Start by changing the allow list to something less than 1000 vlans in total, e.g. VLANs 1-200.

Save the config.

Then edit the ports again, and then add the VLANs to the list that you need.
