port forward device on switch

I have hik vision on my cisco switch and currently it's unreachable.   How will I add port forwarding for meraki mx when the device is on the cisco switch.  I familiar with how to add port forwarding on the meraki mx however the hik vision is on the cisco switch which I'm struggling with.

It is not possible to configure port forwarding on Meraki switch, only on MX.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

The device can be (nearly) everywhere you have a routing path to from your internet-facing device. But this device (router/firewall) has to do the port forward.

If that Cisco switch is downstream of your Meraki MX you can just configure port forwarding on your MX regardless of the switch the device is on.

The two technologies have nothing to do with each other and will work perfectly together given your LAN is correctly uplinked to the MX.
