Sometimes the device isn't being assigned to the right vlan. We wil change vlan and change it back to the right one or sometimes even have to disable the port for about a minute and re-enable it to get the proper vlan configuration on the device.
This sounds like a case you need to file.I haven't had this kind of bug before though.
