SFP+ ports getting disabled

Does anyone have any advice for this weird issue?

I've got a MS420-24 connected to a few MS320-48LP in my network rack; one of the MS320's keeps dropping out when connected via SFP+ DAC, but is happy when connected via ethernet.

I've tried switching ports at each end, and have tried replacing the cable multiple times.

Here is my port config on the MS420

Kind of a big deal

Only the MS320? And you're tried different DACs? Smells like a bug to me. Maybe call into support and get them to take a look.

Is it a Meraki DAC cable?

Ooh, no it's not; I didn't think of that. All my other links are working fine on generic DAC cables

It is going to be tricky getting help from support.  Is the DAC cable 3m or less in length?

I would make sure you are on currently firmware like @jdsilva suggested as well.

Yep! 1m

And yep, I'm running all current firmware.

Yarrrr

I think I would try the firmware update, and then buy one Meraki DAC cable, plug it in, and then contact support.

+1. It's only $100 list (MA-CBL-TA-1M).

good idea...the brown portion in the connectivity bar usually means "high proportion of CRC errors"
