RSPAN

Dear community,

 

Is there a way to use remote span on meraki switches.

 

Also can Meraki core switch get span data from other switches.

Nope. You can do a simple SPAN session, or you can do a packet capture from the dashboard.

What if the access switches are stacked to look like one and the traffic is spanned from all the switches in the stack to a single port on the switch stack.

 

 

Can that be possible.

It is possible to connect the monitor output port to an other unused port, place this port to an unused Vlan,

and add this Vlan to the uplink port?

Would that new vlan forward packets as unknown unicast/mac?
