MS425 and MS410 boot up time

We are planning to migrate layer3 core switch MS425 with virtual stacking and MS410 with physical stacking from one Dashboard to another one - remove device from network then unclaim from legacy dashboard, claim on new Dashboard and add device to new network. What is the estimated downtime?

We had experienced super long boot up for MS390 and C9300L-M stack, just want to know MS410 and MS425.

To add to @BlakeRichardson 's comment, if the old dashboard and the new dashboard are running different versions, you will need to factor in upgrade time which could be up to 30 mins.

MS425 if booting on existing network for me has been usually less than 5 minutes. If you are adding devices to a new network after factory resetting this will take a bit longer. I'd say 10-15 mins to be safe.

Really helpful. I recall someone mentioned that we can actually force MS use same firmware version in new dashboard, anyone know the details?

Yes, in the new Cisco Meraki dashboard, you can force Meraki MS switches (like MS120, MS210, MS425, etc.) to use a specific firmware version, including older versions, using the firmware downgrade override feature—but only if you have access rights and the correct organization permissions. For more details   I suggest you to check the Meraki documentation..!

Approx. 6–10 minutes from power-on to being fully operational and connected to the Meraki Dashboard.

First-time boot or after firmware upgrade: May take slightly longer due to hardware checks or firmware verification.
