MS350 4 uplink ports

[JED2021]

The 4 uplink ports are labeled SFP + and using an SFP+ optic they light Green

When Using an SFP they light orange.

Is there an issue  with using an SFP 1GIG optic?

I do not see any documentation statin it is  not compatible?

At least the documentation shows compatible SFP modules:

That does not mean that all SFPs will work, but if it is a third-party SFP build for Cisco, it is very likely that it works.

In essence, on Meraki switches the port lights up green for higher speeds and orange for lower speeds.  i.e. on a SFP+ port it lights up green for 10Gb connections and orange for 1Gb or less.
