MS220

Hi all,

I've an CS220-48F switch. I need to add an uplink with this spec : 100mb on Single-mode fiber optic. Can I do this ? I tried it, but it dosent work ? The port must be 1Gb or 100mb could work ?

Thank for Help

No. transceivers have hard coded speeds.

There are no Meraki devices that accept a 100mb SFP

Here to help

All the above is correct however, if you're trying to 'engineer' a way for this to work, you could look to use an RJ45 port which you could force into 100MB and then use 3rd party media convertors to convert between copper & SMF.
