L3 SVI interface and Mangement IP

Hi all,

Just wondering if I make MS switch L3 routing enabled,

using SVI interface for vlan100 like 192.168.100.10, routing deafult gw 192.168.100.1,

and make one switch port to access port vlan100, then connect this port to uplink default gw(access port vlan100),

and use LAN IP/Management IP:192.168.100.200 gw:192.168.100.1 vlan:blank,

Since management ip subnet overlap with its own L3 interce subnet, would this be ok?

And should I change the Management VLAN in Configure->Switching settings to 100?

From the MS Best Practice document 

• L3 Interfaces

  • Assign a dedicated management VLAN

  • Avoid configuring a L3 interface for the management vlan. Use L3 interfaces only for data VLANs. This helps in separating management traffic from user data

Aside from what @DarrenOC correctly mentioned about best practices, I don't see what the value would be in having an L3 interface on the switch for a VLAN that it is not the default gateway for.
