Issue powering several PoE Camera's on a C9300-48UN Meraki switch

At the moment I have a stack of 2  catalyst switches migrated to Meraki. Running 17.18.1.

Member 1 C9300-48P

Member 2 C9300-48UN

When I connect the camera's to member 1 they get PoE and function properly. When I connect them to member 2 they don't receive PoE.

Troubleshooting steps done

- Swapped cables. No difference

- Connected an AP. Device gets power

- Power cycle the ports

Any ideas how to solve this?

Maybe an UPoE incompatibility on the MR´s. Can you change the Power settings for the ports to PoE+ ?

I cannot change PoE settings on a Meraki device. Only on or off.

I think it might be related to the following command

hw-module switch 2 upoe-plus

I have the same C9300-48un in Catalyst Managed mode and then its working if hw-module switch 1 upoe-plus is not present.

Support may be able to change this command to make it work. We had an issue with voip hardware and support had to customize a cdp/lldp related command and was able to do so, even though not accessible to us.
