How to edit or cancel a Stages Upgrade job!

Hi,
I have been testing Stages Upgrades since I would like to test a new firmware version on one single switch-stack in a network.
But I've come to the conclusion that this isn't possible. I have to gradually upgrade every switch in the network.

All right, when I considered using that as a workaround. Plan upgrade of the desired switch-stack, and schedule all other switches for later, and then simply cancel the remaining scheduled jobs after the switch-stack has been upgraded. But I can't get rid of the job once it's started. At least that's how it seems.
I'm unable to edit or Cancel the scheduled job, so now I'm forced to upgrade all of the switches. - That can't be right!

I can cancel all scheduled Meraki jobs, but I can't cancel a Stages Upgrade I have created myself. I can only reschedule or defer.

So if I don't want to roll out that particular firmware to all switches in the network, I have a problem! - or am I missing something?

Hope my description makes sense! 🙂

Regards
Henrik

Then you can use reschedule or the defer option to shift the upgrade date to the later on.

Also if you want some switches to be on the other firmware Meraki support will help you in doing that from backend and rest of the switches will be on the same firmware.

Hi,

You can cancel or rollback the upgrade process by going to the Staged upgrades under Switch tab. And then selecting the rollback option. Below is the documentation for your reference.

Hi AmitPanchal,
I appreciate your response. But I'm sorry, I don't see any Cancel option!
I have 'Reschedule', 'Rollback' and 'Defer'.

I don't want to rollback. I just want to settle for completing the first step.
In my scenario, I only want to upgrade one switch-stack. and no further. To me it seems like that I have to deal with every switch in the entire network.

Okay thanks. You confirms to me that I'm unable to upgrade a single switch-stack on my own and stop the job here.
It was also only for test purpose. I will of cause prefer to have all switches on the same firmware. Otherwise Meraki Support has to be involved. - Thanks again. 🙂
