Console Port Access MS355-24

Hello team,

I have a question, Where I work we bought some MS355-24 switches, I would like to know:

1. What happens if for some reason the network is left without Internet Access and I need to make a change?

2. The MS-355-24 switches have a port on the back, I think it is a Console Port. Can I manage or access the switch locally through that port?

Greetings and thanks.

The port is used to access the local device management page which lets you make some very basic changes. It's purpose is to help you to get the switch connected to the Meraki cloud if you've made a bad config change or need done specific config during initial setup.

As Brash mentioned its simply to configure the uplink to the Meraki dashboard.
